Applications
We use the following software applications:
- • Adobe Acrobat (CS4) – PDFs should be system ready and have editable text
• Adobe InDesign (CS4)
• Adobe Illustrator (CS4)
• Adobe Photoshop (CS4)
• Macromedia Freehand (9)
• Quark Xpress (8)
Please note: All later versions need to be saved in an earlier version.
File Delivery
We accept electronic documents through any of the following:
- • http://graphics.dailyherald.com (our FTP site – click here for instructions)
• Web Based: (2nd party sites) www.fastchannel.com and www.adtransit.com
• AdSEND (Code ILARL))
• CD-Rom (ISO 9660 formatted)
• DVD
Attention IBM or PC Users: Since we use Apple Macintosh computers, documents created by DOS or Windows must be saved in a format our software can read. A document containing artwork and type should be saved as an EPS or print file with fonts converted to outlined, paths or curves (depending on program) or a PDF file with fonts embedded.
