STANDARD BAG COLORS
• Clear, White, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Red
• Other colors available as quoted

STANDARD INK COLORS
• White, Black, Brown, Reflex Blue, Red PMS 185, Green PMS 348, Orange PMS 165, Yellow PMS 109
• Custom colors available as quoted via PMS book

AVAILABLE IMAGE AREA
• Width of bag minus 1”, Length of bag minus 3”
• IMAGE SIZE: Sunday: 21” x 7.5”; Daily: 21” x 6.5”
• Allow 1.75” for recycle emblem and suffocation warning to be added

COPY SPECIFICATIONS
• TEXT – Minimum of 8 pt medium for positive text, minimum of 10 pt bold for reverse text
• LINE & FREE POINTS – Minimum of 1 pt rule weight for positive, Minimum of 2 pt for reverse
• COLOR TO COLOR TRAP – Minimum of 1/32”, preferably with a black trap line of 1/16” or greater to trap opposing colors

PRESS CAPABILITIES
• Up to 8 colors on 2 sides
• Must allow for a registration variance of 1/32” total between color
• Screening should be no finer than 65 line screen when printing with solids or line text
• Screening should be no finer than 110 line screen on any process print project

LEAD TIME
• Standard lead-time is 4-6 weeks from receipt of approved art to our specs: Consult rep for possibility of shorter lead times

STANDARD ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
• If suffocation/recycle warning is included in the artwork, it must be within the image area
• Right reading negative, emulsion side up; density of 4.0 or greater
• Pre-Separated negatives required for multiple colors
• Color to color trap must be within above referenced specs

ELECTRONICALLY TRANSMITTED ART/ART ON DISK (charge for downloading as quoted)
• Scanned-in images for line work are acceptable if 400 dpi or greater.
• All screen and printer fonts must be included on disk.
• All support files must be included on disk.
• Must include mechanical color proof with scale indicated.
• All art must be vector images ( Illustrator or Freehand)

HALF TONE SCREEN SPECIFICATIONS
• If screening is used, screen line ruling should be 65 lines per inch on line or spot, with a tonal range of 10 – 75%
• If screening is used, screen line ruling should be 110 lines per inch on process printing, minimum resolution of 220 dpi with 300 dpi being preferred
• Micro dots will print on image
• Platemaker will generate film from customer art, trapping & tonal ranges will be set to Flexo standards
• 3% minimum dot size, 15% to 88% tonal range

DESIGN CHARACTER
• It is important to consider advantage and limitations with flexographic printing. Print Gain and Registration are factors to be closely evaluated to obtain optimum printability
• When printing solid with reverse type you may choose to increase minimum sizes depending on the type style to be used
